The South Coast centre opened in 1990. The South Coast Centre is an integral and well-respected family and community hub within the Illawarra. In 2020, 13 programs operate from the South Coast centre and its outreach sites which are located in Warilla, Bundaleer, Nowra, Ulladulla, Moss Vale and Bowral.
Programs include, universal place-based programs, early intervention/case management services, community development programs, intensive preservation services and permanency (OOHC) programs such as, Temporary Family Care and Kin Care. Programs are delivered in an integrated way which means that families can move within and across programs, dependent on need. Additionally, we offer a range of evidence-based parenting and family support group work programs including: Circle of Security, Bringing Up Great Kids, Blackbox Parenting alongside a bespoke therapeutic support group for women (with children) living in the context of domestic and family violence.
