With over 100 years of experience in caring for children, we are committed to providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere that enables your child to feel safe and secure at all times.
Our dedicated staff focus on the individual needs of your child, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, because we understand that every child is unique. We want to equip them with the necessary tools to unlock their full potential. About our centre
The Barnardos Early Learning Centre Ultimo is a state of the art, purpose-built centre based at Ultimo Public School.
The centre is a diverse, spacious and stimulating environment where your child will thrive. It has two different learning environments. Each space allows for your child’s curiosities to develop while enabling them to learn and discover at their own pace. We also have a beautiful large outdoor area, where kids can have fun and feel secure and connect with nature.
At Barnardos Early Learning Centre Ultimo, we believe in the power of learning and provide a well implemented, evidence based curriculum for your child. All our educational programs are guided by the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
Our team of qualified educators are also experienced in supporting children with additional needs.

MODERN CENTRE
State of the art centre, designed to encourage play and learning for your child.
18 MONTHS - 5 YRS
We cater for children aged 18 months to 5 years old.
LONG HOURS
We are open from 7:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
LARGE OUTDOOR PLAY AREA
2 dedicated learning environments and a custom-built, landscaped outdoor area that is fun and secure.
EVIDENCE BASED CURRICULUM
We encourage children to explore, learn and grow at their own pace.
ALL MEALS PROVIDED
We provide nutritious meals which are prepared to the highest standards and current health guidelines by our on-site chef.

I have always had a strong passion for early childhood education and I believe it is essential in setting our future generation up for the best success in their lives.
I have been educating and caring for children for the past 10 years and strongly believe that children learn, grow and thrive through an interest and play-based approach to learning. Providing a supportive and inclusive space for all children, families and communities is embedded into my personal philosophy and I believe that every child’s voice has a right to be valued and acknowledged.
At Barnardos Early Learning Centre we value family and community partnerships and will collaborate closely with you to support your child’s holistic development which includes social, cognitive, emotional, physical and language learning areas. Adhering to the Early Years Learning Framework, The Code of Ethics and the National Quality Framework, we ensure that each child is provided with an equal opportunity for a positive early childhood education experience.
