Building confidence and safety for children after family violence
Connecting Three Dots is a program designed for children with disabilities who have experienced Domestic and Family Violence and are residing in the Newcastle area.
This service focuses on providing trauma-informed, child-centred therapeutic healing to help children understand and process their experiences. A diagnosis is not required.
The program aims
Build self-confidence and sense of self-strength
Strengthen a sense of safety and stability
Improve both physical and mental health
Encourage engagement in school, educational and cultural activities
Encourage engagement with therapeutic Life Story Work
Support stronger, more trusting relationships with the safe caregivers
