Save the Date! The Winter Peter Pan Op Shop Sale announced

Friday 2nd June – Sunday 4th June 2023

The Peter Pan Op Shop sale is one of Barnardos Australia’s most iconic fundraising events, where eager shoppers can find an amazing range of new designer fashion, end-of-season stock, pre-loved and vintage wears.

The Op Shop takes place twice a year, and we invite our Corporate Partners to rally their employees and to get involved, as volunteers.

The Peter Pan Op Shop is a great team-building activity, where volunteers support Barnardos, by contributing their time to this fundraising event. Money raised over the course of the three days directly supports our early intervention and prevention programs, making a positive impact on the children and families that Barnardos helps!

We will be calling on volunteers to help with set up, on the day selling and pack down, from Wednesday 31st May – Sunday 4th June.

Please email awild@barnardos.org.au to ensure you receive volunteer registration details once they’re released. Places are limited!

Announcing iNova – our new corporate partner!

We are thrilled to announce that iNova Pharmaceuticals has joined us as our latest Corporate Partner! This exciting partnership will help us continue making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.

At Barnardos, we are dedicated to improving the lives of Australia’s most vulnerable children and young people. Our partnerships with corporations like iNova Pharmaceuticals play a vital role in helping us achieve this goal, and we are incredibly grateful for their support.

iNova Pharmaceuticals is a leading health and wellness company, with the commitment of improving the lives of people everywhere. Their generosity and dedication to our cause align perfectly with our own values, and we look forward to working with them in the coming months and years. Together, we can help Australia’s most vulnerable children and young people reach their brightest future.

iNova Pharmaceuticals, started their Australian workplace giving program in 2019 as a way for the company and its people to give back to the communities in which they live and work. The program is a key part of iNova’s employee value proposition, which underpins our people strategy.

The partnership with Barnardos is a great fit for iNova. Employees are passionate about supporting an organisation that helps children in a tangible way, and Barnardos has a strong track record in making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable young people. The opportunities that are available for iNova and Barnardos to partner together, are a key element of why iNova identified Barnardos as our sole charity to work with.

The iNova team looks forward to partnering with Barnardos and helping Aussie kids reach their full potential.

Kate Nacinovic, People & Culture Director, ANZ

On behalf of everyone at Barnardos, we would like to extend a warm welcome to iNova Pharmaceuticals and thank them for their support. Could your company be our next Matched Giving Partner?

Over the years Barnardos has partnered with a number of brands to elevate our fundraising campaigns! Could your organisation collaborate with us in May, for our next public appeal?

We are offering two corporates the opportunity to become the next Barnardos Matched Giving Partner. This partnership will provide your organisation with a unique way of supporting Barnardos goal of helping vulnerable children and their families while also promoting employee engagement and enhancing your company’s reputation, through brand exposure. Here are a few benefits of being our Barnardos Matched Giving Partner:

Increased impact

As a Matched Giving Partner, your organisation will match public donations up to an agreed amount, effectively doubling the impact of each donation. This means that your company can have an even greater impact on the lives of children in need.

Employee engagement

By offering employees the opportunity to support Barnardos Australia, your organisation can increase employee engagement and personal fulfilment. This, in turn, can lead to improved morale, higher job satisfaction, and lower turnover rates.

Community involvement

Partnering with Barnardos Australia provides your organsation with the opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to the community by making a positive impact on the lives of children in need. This can enhance your organisation’s reputation and build positive relationships with local communities.

Corporate brand exposure

Through the partnership with Barnardos Australia, your company can increase your exposure and build your brand as a socially responsible and community-focused organization. This can help to attract customers, employees, and investors who share similar values.

Tax benefits

Companies can claim tax relief on their donations to Barnardos Australia, which can help reduce the overall cost of the partnership.

Contact our Partnerships Manager, Maxine Beretta on 02 9218 2442 or mberetta@barnardos.org.au for more details on how your organisation can support us in our next appeal.

WHAT WE SEE

We see beyond the sleepover in cars and understand the underlying issues.

After escaping family violence, a parent and their child have nowhere safe to stay and are
currently waiting for refuge accommodation.
