Auburn Community Food Pantry Project

Barnardos Children’s Family Centre Auburn were successful in receiving a grant from the DOOLEYS Lidcombe Catholic Club to start a Food Pantry for our Auburn community.

In just less than a month, we have transformed one of our rooms into a storage for foods and necessities. We have partnered with OzHarvest, Aldi and Costco to provide ongoing food supplies to our clients. We have also received a very generous donation of $5000 worth of the food and goods from Tara Anglican School for Girls, with handmade cards and recipes to give to our clients.

Our Food Pantry project will be open to the public every Tuesday between 1pm to 2pm. Clients can also access our food hampers on any other days with booked appointments.
