Megan O’Neill, joined Barnardos Australia in 2026 as Acting Executive Leader, Engagement and Giving.

She is experienced across fundraising, communication and strategy. With qualifications in communications, she began her career in fundraising before spending much of her career in NSW Government roles including media and issues management, strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, partnerships, and project delivery.

Megan has a depth of knowledge across child protection and out of home care service provision.
