Dr Rosa Flaherty

Rosa brings to Barnardos 20+ years of experience working in child and family social care positions, specifically with child safety and care responsibilities. She is an award winning and highly regarded leader, senior operations manager and senior psychologist in the domestic violence, child protection, mental health, and health sectors. She has extensive experience in managing large-scale projects, policy writing, service establishment, leading change and implementing reform, training and building capability in working with marginalised groups such as victims and survivors of sexual abuse and assault, domestic violence, children experiencing abuse and neglect, people living with mental illness, and victims of crime. Her senior leadership experience in managing teams in child abuse and neglect and also OOHC is of great value to Barnardos.

Qualifications: B. Soc. Sci. (Bachelor of Social Science), Grad. Dip. Couns. (Graduate Diploma of Counselling), Grad. Cert. Bus. Admin. (Graduate Certificate of Business Administration), PhD (Psychology). (Doctor of Philosophy – Psychology)
