Urgent need for foster families
The gift of a good home can mean the world to a child in need.
Manning the stalls at Roselands Shopping Centre last Friday, were Barnardos centre manager Mary Haiek and Roula Mostafa, who were putting out the call to all the good people of South Western Sydney to open their doors and their hearts to young Aussies who need it the most.
Barnardos, who have been helping kids and families for over 130 years, are currently in dire need of foster families in NSW.
For even an inexperienced carer, the positive impact that one can have on a child's life cannot be underestimated.
With different types of foster care needed, all positions come with full support and training from the Barnardos team, offering assistance 24 hours a day.
If you have a loving household and would like to share it with a child who may have never of known one, visit barnardos.org.au or call 1800 663 441 to find out more information.
