FAQs

The company that facilitates these hikes provide a grading system to help you understand the physical requirements for your challenge. All three of these hikes are rated ‘Moderate’, which means the challenge will involve trekking for up to 6 to 7 hours a day at a steady pace. You will need a good level of fitness and must be in good health. If you are unsure if these are right for you, please get in touch.
This is dependent on which hike/s we plan to do. Weather conditions will be taken into account before dates are set.
We do not recommend this trip for anyone under 16, but if you would like to trek with a young person aged 16 – 17, they will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Without the accompaniment of a legal adult, these trips are only available for people over 18 years old.
Absolutely! These trips are a fantastic way to make new friends and connect with like-minded people.
That is completely fine. This is purely to help us plan these hikes and better understand where people would want to go. There is no commitment by expressing interest, and this will only mean we can contact you if the hike/s goes ahead.

WHAT WE SEE

We see beyond the sleepover in cars and understand the underlying issues.

After escaping family violence, a parent and their child have nowhere safe to stay and are
currently waiting for refuge accommodation.
