Celebrating National Volunteer Week – Community Garden

We are extremely lucky here at our Penrith Children’s Family Centre to have 4 amazing volunteers that do everything from gardening, building and educating us on our community garden & produce.

Kaye, Kevin, Marzi & Scherrie dedicate their Tuesday’s to our community garden, which then sees the produce go into our community food hampers for everyone to enjoy.

They do lots of different projects within the garden to help keep it sustainable, including 3 new compost bays which even got a feature in the Greening & Growing Together Winter Newsletter.

Thank you guys for the ongoing support & knowledge you bring to our centre and staff around our community garden.
