Barnardos uses its knowledge, gained while delivering services, to advocate for policies and practices which will assist children, young people and their families.

We respond to calls for advice by Royal Commissions, State, Federal, Territory and local governments by submitting submissions and appeals.

We take issues of concern to decision makers and seek timely responses.

We advise the community about our approaches and join with other community agencies and corporations and businesses to find the best ways of helping children and young people.
