Barnardos Australia was thrilled to host Maori staff from our sister organisation in New Zealand recently.

Kaja Jungersen, Manu Joyce and Rose Russell visited our centres to share ideas, experiences and the challenges of improving our cultural intelligence and responsiveness as we strive to improve how we make the most difference in the lives of Indigenous children and their families.

The meeting featured a welcome to country from Aboriginal elders and a traditional Maori song performed by the NZ visitors.
