The Barnardos family would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all of you who made such kind donations to our Star of Wonder Gift Appeal 2011.
Your incredible support and generosity meant we collected over $40,000 and over 4,000 gifts! All of these treasures were given to children in Barnardos centres nationwide. Over eighty companies, five schools and over one thousand individuals across Australia gave to the Star of Wonder Gift Appeal – amazing! You made the 2011 Star of Wonder our most successful to date. Thank you.
It was lovely to see so many smiling faces as we passed out all those wonderful presents and to know we had the funds to support families and young people in crisis during the festive season. One of our senior centre managers, Vivienne, assisted in dropping off last minute gifts on Christmas Eve and told me that families were speechless and some even moved to tears by your gifts.

Highest Contributor
We are delighted to announce that Merck Sharp & Dohme (Australia) Pty Ltd was the highest contributor of toys to the appeal this year. The truly inspiring staff at MSD gave an astounding $7,174 worth of gifts! Wow. Thank you so very much to you all.
