South East Sydney, which covers the Inner City down to the Royal National Park, is serviced by our Temporary Family Care Program. It is a highly diverse area with high-income suburbs situated next to inner city poverty.
The incidence of drug and alcohol abuse and psychiatric illness is higher than average in the inner city area, bringing to Barnardos a large number of children, young people and families affected by these problems.
