Many children grow up in vulnerable and disadvantaged surroundings, which can mean they are socially excluded and not able to reach their potential at school or in life.

Barnardos' national community programs enable children and young people to take part in opportunities that focus on education, health, and social and emotional well-being.  These free opportunities reduce differences and allow children and young people to feel included, like their peers, and introduce them to new experiences.

  • Barnardos Children's Support Program - The Barnardos Children’s Support Program (BCSP) provides small grants of up to $5000 per grant to help children aged 4-18 years who are experiencing significant disadvantage. It is open to schools across Australia in communities of low socio-educational advantage.
