Robert Fitzgerald AM addresses Barnardos Australia Board
On Friday 21st June, Barnardos Board were honoured to have special guest Robert Fitzgerald AM speak to them about leadership, culture and governance and how charities can be more resilient.
Robert was a Commissioner on the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse for 5 years and a Commissioner on the Productivity Commission from 2004 until April 2019, where he is currently a Special Adviser. Previously he was the NSW Community and Disability Services Commissioner and Deputy Ombudsman. Robert was the inaugural Chair of the Advisory Board, Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission and has conducted over 17 government commissioned national inquiries into economic and social policy areas.
