Seven retailers at the Primewest Auburn Megamall are making a difference to families staying in Barnardos Australia's temporary housing during the festive season.
Megamall marketing manager Anna Le said fantastic Furniture, By Dezign, Rug Lovers, Snooze, Bedroom Collections, AGL Smarter Living and Sleepy's donated more than $11,000 in furniture, bedding and homewares to the Barnardos Temporary Accommodation Program (TAP) in time for Christmas.
"It means a lot to the centre and our retailers that we can make the families' experience and stay at Barnardos more comfortable during a difficult time, especially during Christmas," she said.
Barnardos TAP manager Sonya Lawler said they were 'completely overwhelmed' by the show of generosity.
"These donation will mean that families and young people will be able to enjoy having a new furniture and household items in time for Christmas and the holidays," she said.
