NAIDOC Family Fun Day

Come celebrate our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture at our free NAIDOC Family Fun Day on Tuesday, July 6.

It will be a fun day for the whole family with a Welcome to Country, entertainment with local artists and dancers, giveaways and activities for young and old and a free BBQ (with healthy options) and water. All of the local services sponsoring the event will have information stalls and representatives present on the day.

NAIDOC Week runs from July 4 -11 2021 and recognises the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal people.
The national NAIDOC theme for 2021 is 'Heal Country!'
The NAIDOC 2021 theme calls for all of us to continue to seek greater protections for our lands, our waters, our sacred sites and our cultural heritage from exploitation, desecration, and destruction.
