Vizeum staff at Barnardos Auburn Centre

Staff from media agency, Vizeum recently visited the Barnardos Auburn Children’s Family Centre as part of the One Day for Change.

One Day for Change is where all companies within the Dentsu Aegis Network in the Asia Pacific region,  almost 9,000 staff, leave their desks for a day and spend it helping local communities. As well as rolling up their sleeves for a working bee around the centre Vizeum presented Barnardos with a cheque for $10,430 on behalf of money raised by staff within the Dentsu Aegis Network – Sydney.

Barnardos Auburn Program Manager Suzanne Hughes said “We are so grateful to Vizeum for their support. This much needed donation will go towards our work with disadvantaged young people in the Auburn area to get them back into education and employment and decrease incidence of youth homelessness.”

Vizeum has supported the Barnardos Auburn Children’s Family Centre for three years and strongly believes in their vital work with local children and families.

Vizeum’s Patrick Fahey said community is everything.

"We chose to focus our efforts on the Auburn Centre because there’s an opportunity for us to make a tangible difference. Whenever we visit the centre our staff are delighted at the fact we can facilitate change in addition to seeing the wonderful work the Barnardos staff do on a day to day basis. Giving our staff the opportunity to connect with the community is priceless.”
