The Easter bunny made an early delivery this year to some very delighted children at Barnardos Children’s Family Centre in Auburn.
The Easter bunny hopped in to deliver Easter eggs donated by ALDI Australia, hiding them for a Easter egg hunt in the playground.
“We are thrilled with the donation of Easter eggs and it has enabled us to put on a great Easter party for the kids. ALDI has been hugely supportive of our Auburn Children’s Family Centre for a number of years with not only financial contributions but by supplying a range of household goods and educational resources as well.” Mary Anne Bechara, Barnardos Program Manager
This Easter, ALDI will provide chocolate Easter eggs and treats for the children who utilise Barnardos’ services, and will help each Barnardos service host a fun-filled party.
“ALDI Australia is extremely proud to be a long-term partner of Barnardos Australia and offers support through financial and in-kind donations. Our in-kind donations occur on a weekly basis and Easter is one of the key annual milestones where this commitment shows its strength.”
“We’re delighted to have the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the lives of children in Barnardos’ services. We thoroughly believe in Barnardos’ work; its efforts to keep children safe, prevent abuse and support families facing overwhelming disadvantage is immeasurable in advancing vulnerable communities throughout Australia.” an ALDI Australia spokesperson said.
ALDI Australian has supported Barnardos for more than 10 years, helping us continue our vital work. They have collectively given more than $2.5 million in financial donations and products, including books, clothing, bed linen and other essential household goods.
