South Coast Volunteers Needed
Would you like to work with children and families, gain valuable work experience and make a difference in your local community?
Barnardos Early Years Home Support Service (BEYHSS) is a family support program based in NSW’s South Coast.
BEYHSS is a family support program where families with children aged up to five receive weekly support from a volunteer home visitor for a period of time.
As a volunteer you will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support from our team.
As a BEYHSS volunteer home visitor, you will provide informal emotional and practical support to families to assist in the transition to parenthood. Volunteer home visitors may also provide information on child development, positive parenting practices and relevant community and health services.
The area that you will be volunteering in is from Helensburgh to Gerroa, NSW.
