Resource strategy
All Barnardos' resources are used to maximise services for children, their families and communities.
Our most valuable resource is our staff, carers and volunteers. Our personnel policies aim to enhance their training, retention and participation by:
- Working in collaborative teams
- Encouraging co-operation between teams and programs
- Providing training to support professional development
- Respecting workers’ commitment and rights
- Providing regular supervision and support
Cost-effective information systems and vehicles are provided for the programs. A fixed asset register is maintained and property is insured and appropriately maintained.
