Buying or donating online vs actual gift giving
We understand that some companies have been participating in our Star of Wonder Gift Appeal for a few years and have become accustomed to collecting and sending us actual gifts. While we appreciate the effort very much and will continue to accept gifts delivered in this way, we would like to stress how much using the online toy store, gift card store or making a donation online reduces our costs.
Every gift in our online toy store has been pre-selected for its safety and relevance for the children we care for. Sadly each year we have to withhold many well intentioned gifts sent to us as they do not fit the required criteria needed for them to be given to a child.
Donating online is secure, simple and convenient and you can be sure that your generous donation will be given to an underprivileged child.
Fundraise and buy online with the proceeds
Our online options give everyone the chance to choose how they would like to contribute to the Star of Wonder appeal. You may like to select a special gift from our online toy store, purchase a gift card for a teenager or provide a much needed donation.
Your organisation may appreciate some more interaction and a fundraising activity is the perfect way to bring everyone together. Your Star of Wonder coordinator may then use the funds to purchase gifts online or use our online donation button.
