Recognising that education is an integral part of a child’s development, OfficeMax has partnered with Barnardos in an effort to bring education to more young Australians than ever.

The OfficeMax/Barnardos partnership is growing and dynamic. Two of the ways we’re making a difference are:

• With the help of OfficeMax’s supply partners Artline, BIC, Duracell, Pritt and Tork, OfficeMax will be donating a portion of purchase price of selected items sold, to Barnardos’ education programs. These programs offer specialised intensive support to children who, as a result of severe disadvantage, neglect or abuse, have fallen behind and have special educational or developmental needs.
  
  
• We are implementing a grant scheme that will enable disadvantaged families to access funds through local community organisations, for the purpose of supporting the educational needs of children. These needs could include things such as books, uniforms, special school fees, special education projects or special tutoring.
