The Lifestyle Options Program (LSOP) is designed to bridge the gap for school leavers with disabilities who have medium to high support needs, between their departure from school and their participation in the wider community.
The program aims to offer comprehensive and individually-designed programs to aid young people with disabilities to make the transition from school to community living, and to offer them greater access to opportunities for community living.
The program is designed for young people of 18 years and over, who are unlikely to be eligible for employment and vocation training and who require assistance to access the community services they need.
Ultimately the goals of the program are to help school leavers to design their own programs and activities, to assist them in meeting their goals and to ensure that the services provided in the community will meet their changing needs and maintain and improve their quality of life.
