HSBC has combined forces with Barnardos to devise and finance a unique and innovative web-based model to help other organisations to set up effective, safe mentoring and teaching programs to help deprived children to increase their life and learning skills.
HSBC supports educational programs and the combination of the mentoring/tutoring foundation of the Kids Friends suite of programs. The programs with their focus on life, literacy and numeracy skills convinced the finance group to offer their assistance.
The HSBCkids website aims to offer visitors an in-depth view of the program.
