A comprehensive training kit for Carers for permanent placements and for Respite Carers who support permanent placements of children and young people most of whom have complex needs and are emotionally disturbed.

Barnardos is recognised as a leader in innovative child welfare practice and our goals aim to reduce and prevent child abuse, both nationally and internationally.

The Institute is currently being established to enable Barnardos to formalise its position within the industry and provide a means under which all publishing, training, consulting and research can be co-ordinated through into the 21st Century.
