Congratulations Rebecca Healy
We extend our congratulations to reigning Barnardos Australia’s Mother of the Year Rebecca Healy, who has been named the 2012 Northern Territory Young Australian of the Year as part of the Northern Territory Australian of the Year Awards.
Rebecca who resides in Alice Springs has been recognised for her contribution to the community as a carer, volunteer and as an inspirational role model to others - many of the attributes acknowledged by Barnardos Australia when Rebecca was announced the 2011 Barnardos Australia’s Mother of the Year in May this year.
The Northern Territory Australian of the Year Awards recognised Rebecca’s success in the Barnardos Australia’s Mother of the Year Awards as part of their tribute to her.
Rebecca will join recipients from all other Australian States and Territories as finalists for the national awards to be announced on 25th January, 2012 in Canberra. From all of us at Barnardos Australia we wish Rebecca the very best of luck.
