Well done to everyone who yesterday ran in the Sun-Herald City2Surf for Barnardos Australia. This year a record 85,000 entered the race, cementing the City2Surf’s place as the world’s largest run. And what a run! It might have been raining, but the pack set off at a cracking pace. As did many of the Barnardos’ runners. Elite chef, Giovanni Pilu, finished the race with a smile and a cracking time and Jo Davison of the Coogee Coogars ran her best time. Results and photos will be posted on our Facebook page as they come in.

Thank you to all the dedicated people who raised and donated funds for Barnardos Australia. At Barnardos we work to stop the cycle of child abuse and neglect in Australia. The money you raised helps to make a positive, permanent difference in the lives of a children and young people.
