Celebrities

Many well-known personalities representing a variety of industries have been generous enough to add their names to our valued group of 'celebrity supporters'.

Barnardos has been fortunate in that these individuals, busy as they are, have donated their time to give their endorsement to our various campaigns and appeals to raise funds to maintain our welfare services and programs.

Some have been judges, comperes or ambassadors associated with the Barnardos Australia's Mother of the Year Awards (BAMYA). Others have appeared on television, radio and newspapers advertisements, raising the profile of Barnardos nationally. Some have helped by generating awareness and appearing at special events and fund-raisers held in support of Barnardos.

One thing our 'celebrity supporters' all have in common is a genuine love and concern for the well-being of all children in our community, and in particular children who are less fortunate than others.

These children, through no fault of their own, find themselves in an environment where they may be at risk of abuse or neglect, or where they cannot grow and develop as other children do. Children whom Barnardos aims to help, both now and in the future.

So we would like to say a heartfelt thank-you to all Barnardos 'celebrity supporters'. We could not have achieved all that we have without your generous commitment.
