Before and after school care
Barnardos Childrens Community Program provides before and after school and vacation care for young children in the Illawarra area whose parents work, are seeking work, are studying or are in need of support.
The program offers a range of activities and programs for the children that will enhance their skills and development while still having fun. Strong emphasis is placed on life skills and self-empowerment.
This program offers a specialised service that works for children with challenging behaviour who are often excluded from mainstream child care services. These children are provided with both the group program and individual casework.
A breakfast program is conducted in the before school care program.
