Privacy policy

Barnardos is committed to the wellbeing of all our clients. As part of that commitment, we respect your privacy and work within the privacy laws. However, these laws do not affect Barnardos’ legal responsibilities for the protection of children and there are times when Barnardos must report concerns about children without permission of the people involved. This is our responsibility under the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998 in NSW and the Child and Young People ACT 1999 in the ACT.

Read our Client Privacy Policy and our Worker Privacy Policy. They have been written for children, young people and families using our services, and for carers, workers, volunteers, job and carer applicants.
